Responsibilities

  • Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
  • Manage digital radiography systems (X-rays, CBCT) and adhere to strict infection control protocols
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
  • Assist with front desk operations including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications
  • Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
  • Coordinate with dental labs for prosthetic orders and case tracking

Qualifications

  • Current California Dental Assistant License (RDA or CDA preferred)
  • X-ray certification with active license
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
