Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorative treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction, and patient monitoring
- Execute infection control protocols and sterilize dental equipment
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal efficiency
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental imaging
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Proven ability to maintain composure in emergency situations
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
