Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety
- Document patient care accurately and maintain clean environments
- Offer emotional support to patients and families during care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility protocols at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Texas CNA certification (or enrollment in state-approved program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
