Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient information accurately
- Provide mobility assistance and positioning to prevent bedsores
- Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurses promptly
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in California
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Must pass background check and pre-employment health screening
