Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, vitals monitoring, and history taking during the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly following safety protocols.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during clinical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and patient areas.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and instructions.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification (RMA/MA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays as required.
