Your Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications following strict safety protocols and physician orders.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription accuracy to prevent errors.
- Assist pharmacists in compounding medications and managing inventory levels.
- Interact with patients and healthcare providers to answer questions and provide medication counseling.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of pharmacy management software.
