Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/ED settings with critical thinking and clinical excellence
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with immediate FL application)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ICU/ED preferred)
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical decision-making skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
