Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in clinical conditions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Mentor less experienced staff during high-acuity assignments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with Ohio Board of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred for ER/ICU roles)
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Valid CPR certification and TB test within last 12 months
