Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Provide patient education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
- Mentor junior nursing staff and uphold highest clinical standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
