Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure accurate health records.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians regarding patient status and care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care support as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
