Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings including emergency, ICU, and med-surg units
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision and compassion
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree strongly preferred (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
