Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts in emergency, ICU, or general ward settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and uphold HIPAA compliance
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during critical hours
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license with Texas endorsement)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years of acute care experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of night shift experience in hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
