Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor patient vitals and update electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin or a compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (Critical Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry preferred).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
