As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the medications they need safely and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications according to strict safety protocols.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure accuracy.
- Assist the Pharmacist with inventory management and drug distribution.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer questions regarding medications.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software.
