Responsibilities
- Assess patients via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency and prioritize care
- Document patient encounters in Epic EHR with 100% accuracy within 15 minutes
- Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Provide patient education on home care instructions and medication protocols
- Manage patient flow during peak hours while maintaining 98% satisfaction scores
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols
- Respond to medical emergencies using ACLS-certified protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) or compact state
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- TENEN certification or equivalent triage training
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- ACLS/BLS certifications with current status
- Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong decision-making under pressure with 95% accuracy
