Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to determine urgency of care
- Provide accurate triage recommendations and prioritize patient flow
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists for coordinated care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm and decisive action
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (WI)
- Minimum 2 years Emergency/Triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
- BSN degree preferred
