Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake, and patient conditions
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
- Facilitate social activities and emotional support for weekend residents
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of geriatric care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional holiday coverage
