Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Administer prescribed medications and document all treatments accurately in patient records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient changes or concerns.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and currently active in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required.
