Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for residents with special dietary needs or swallowing difficulties.
- Report any changes in resident condition, mood, or health status to the Nursing Supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space in strict accordance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Current and active Missouri CNA License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and availability for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of our residents.
