Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration and documentation per protocols
- Support residents with daily activities while maintaining dignity and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care plans
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Valid CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
