Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure daily living needs are met.
  • Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any significant changes to the nursing staff immediately.
  • Assist patients with meal times, feeding, and medication reminders as specifically directed by licensed nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by adhering to strict infection control and sanitation protocols.
  • Accurately document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties related to patient care, such as making beds and tidying patient rooms.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
