Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, medical history reviews, and physical examinations.
- Assist providers during clinical procedures, minor surgeries, and patient intakes.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections under strict provider supervision.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with 100% accuracy.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups, referrals, and prescription refills.
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and maintain a sterile clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant Diploma required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Proficient in phlebotomy, EKG, and basic life support (BLS).
- Strong computer literacy with experience in EMR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
