Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for diverse patient populations across multiple units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with willingness to obtain FL license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic patient needs and unit assignments
