Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with 12-hour rotations
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per established protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend-specific care protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with Florida endorsement)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in telemetry, ICU, or emergency department
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong weekend shift availability and flexibility for scheduling
- Excellent communication skills and critical thinking abilities
- EMR proficiency (experience with Epic preferred)
