- Conduct regular audits of billing codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation requirements
- Generate monthly revenue reports for financial analysis
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and billing databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or CPC credential
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
