Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation
- Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Excellent venipuncture skills with proven track record
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare setting
