Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person triage to determine medical urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans and referrals
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Provide empathetic patient education on treatment protocols and preventive care
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism and clinical judgment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong triage assessment skills using ESI or similar protocols
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Excellent communication and crisis management abilities
- Spanish bilingual preferred (not required)
