Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases according to urgency and clinical protocols
- Provide expert medical guidance via phone, video, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate emergency services when necessary
- Deliver patient education on health conditions and treatment options
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
