Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Administer medications according to care plans and protocols
- Document client interactions and care progress accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications mandatory
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
