Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Medication Management: Promptly remind clients to take medications and report any discrepancies to the on-call supervisor.
- Nutritious Meal Prep: Prepare healthy meals and snacks that adhere to specific dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, assist with hobbies, and provide emotional support to combat loneliness.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, or social events.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and care plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED certificate.
- CPR & First Aid: Certification is preferred, but we provide training for the right candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not mandatory.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient, kind demeanor are essential.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
