Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the patient's dietary needs.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health, mood, or behavior to the Registered Nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and remind patients to take their medications on time.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning, to ensure a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to improve their quality of life.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
