Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and orthodontic treatments
- Advanced radiography and digital imaging using CBCT and intraoral scanners
- Lead sterilization protocols and infection control compliance monitoring
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Manage digital patient records and dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Assist in treatment planning coordination with specialists
- Implement expanded functions under dentist supervision
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in a high-volume practice
- Current DANB certification and Massachusetts radiology license
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Expanded functions certification (EFDA) preferred
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Proven leadership experience in clinical settings
- CPR/BLS certification and OSHA compliance knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
