Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication schedules, and changes in patient health.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social activities.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Document daily care activities and communicate concerns to the care team promptly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic charting.
