Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical equipment according to strict protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures with specialized instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Operate advanced surgical technology including robotic systems
- Inventory and manage equipment inventory with automated tracking systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless case turnover
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience with complex procedures
- Proficiency in laparoscopic and robotic surgical equipment
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
