Responsibilities
- Assist in 20+ complex surgical procedures monthly across orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery
- Maintain sterile environments and implement OSHA compliance protocols
- Train and mentor junior surgical tech staff on advanced techniques
- Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams for seamless case flow
- Manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for OR efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 3+ years OR experience
- BLS/CPR certification and current Tennessee state license
- Expertise in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive procedures
- Proven track record in trauma and emergency surgery support
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards (AAMI/ANSI)
- Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
