Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility issues, transferring, and walking using proper techniques.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medication and track health records under the supervision of a nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to prevent isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- CNA, HHA, or CMT certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, kind demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
