Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health or medication adherence.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to combat loneliness and promote mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including light cooking, laundry, and errands.
- Mobility Support: Assist with transfers, walking, and navigating the home safely to prevent falls.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the client, family members, and our medical team to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, CMA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping others and the ability to demonstrate patience and empathy.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Health Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
