Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Take digital dental impressions and X-rays following ALARA protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Administer nitrous oxide and perform coronal polishing
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work 3-4 days/week (24-32 hours)
- Spanish fluency required for diverse patient population
