Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily health logs under supervision.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and light cleaning to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental health status to the care team immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (will provide training if needed).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
