Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in client behavior to the care team.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and health clearance.
- Previous experience in home health care, hospice, or personal assistance is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
