Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess patient health issues, diagnose, and develop comprehensive nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Administer Treatments: Perform medical procedures and administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and care continuity.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Continuously monitor patient conditions, alerting supervisors to any changes or potential emergencies.
- Document Care: Accurately maintain and update patient medical records, charts, and clinical notes.
- Ensure Safety: Adhere to strict hospital safety and infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact state eligibility).
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (ICU, Med-Surg, ER, or Telemetry preferred).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare environments and schedules.
