Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and process prescriptions for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions regarding medications and healthcare products.
- Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and monitoring expiration dates.
- Assist with insurance verification and processing of patient payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy environment.
- Prepare and package medications for delivery or pickup.
Qualifications
- Current and active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy management software.
