Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the Case Manager.
- Accurately document daily care activities and incident reports in our electronic system.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, or shopping as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine, compassionate demeanor and a patient attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
