Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure diagnostic quality
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
