Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Assist with daily living activities and light household chores
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands
- Document patient progress and care plans accurately
- Comply with healthcare regulations and company protocols
- Build trust through empathetic communication with patients/families
Qualifications
- Current California HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 1 year home care experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and TB screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Compassionate demeanor and cultural sensitivity
