Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the RN immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, strictly adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Assist with patient mobilization and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Accurately document patient care activities and changes in condition in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA License in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
