Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers to ensure safety.
- Communicate patient status changes to nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
- Document daily care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Engage patients in social and recreational activities to improve well-being.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA License (CNAS) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
