Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional condition and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Assist in patient transportation and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment.
- Document patient care accurately and timely according to hospital policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Missouri.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
