Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and prepare IV admixtures under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation for pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient medication records
- Assist with compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare staff
- Maintain strict compliance with FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician certification required
- 1+ years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software systems
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
