Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and restocking of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software systems and automated dispensing equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmaceutical terminology
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license (for medication deliveries)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
